Happy Friday!! Today I needed some visual stimulation and inspiration. So I went and discovered delightful looking blossoms and took in some sweet fresh air. It’s nice to appreciate what spring brings and take in the beauty around town. The colors, smells and look of these flowers amazed me. The best part is I wanted to just enjoy the candid photos and didn’t do any editing. Enjoy the beauties that I tried to capture!
So sometimes adventures don’t mean taking a long trip to a foreign place. A recent adventure I took was just a bike ride down to the beach at sunset. Everything about the ride was beautiful and ending up at the beach was magical. The best part of taking these photos was that they are all candid. No photo was set up, I was either riding a bike holding on with one hand while snapping away or just running around the beach capturing the action. It is the little things in life that make it so enjoyable!
My travels recently took me to Arizona for a very special trip. This trip was to celebrate my three year anniversary with my boyfriend and it was a much needed romantic trip!! We are currently a long distance couple and any time we get together it is pure bliss. So as the great guy he is, I was picked up from the airport and swept away to a little place called Prescott. Long distance relationships are tough but it really makes you cherish and enjoy every little second you get to spend together..it’s a love post!
One great advantage to living with the boys I do, is tagging along on their search for good waves. This last time we ended up in Ventura, a beautiful quaint little town, one of my favorites. These little road trips are great, I get to explore the beach and surrounding areas while the boys explore the break. My challenge is usually to get photos of them surfing, I think that’s why I am invited in the first place, but it works out great because I truly enjoy watching them surf. My fun also consists of running around setting the self timer and capturing self portraits. I probably look ridiculous prancing and climbing rocks to pose alone but I feel I have mastered the art of entertaining myself since I grew up as an only child. Basically I had a blast with myself, my camera and getting to observe the boys in their natural form. I hope you enjoy the day I captured in beautiful Ventura.
